ABOUT ME
Hey I'm Ben, a blackwork tattoo artist from Newbury in the UK.
I was a senior mechanical engineer for 12 years before I started tattooing. By the time I started I had a very supportive group of friends already working in the industry, some with their own studios who guided me in the right direction. I started my apprenticeship in Stroud Tattoo Company but when Covid hit it made things very difficult. I went back to engineering for a few months, working contracts to set aside money to cover myself through the transition. I also build and paint vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles.
